I incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate learners with diverse needs. One method in particular are guided notes. I always make sure they have a Powerpoint of the lesson and a guided notes sheet. This allows students to work through the notes without feeling the pressure of having to keep up in class. Another technique that has proven to be very successful is the use of Kahn Academy. When I am teaching specific standards, especially in chemistry, I always encourage students reference Kahn Academy for follow-up remediation.
